The journey takes about 8 to 10 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions. The average price of a bus ticket is about N25,000, but it may vary depending on the bus company and the type of bus.

Some of the bus companies that operate between Lagos and Abuja are ABC Transport, Chisco Group, Cross Country, Ekesons Transport, Ifesinachi Transport, and GUO Transport.

3. Car hire

This is a more convenient and flexible way to travel, but also more expensive and risky. You can hire a car from Lagos to Abuja, either as a private or a shared ride or from Uber or Bolt.

The journey can take about 10 hours, depending on the driver and the route.

As for the price, the average price to hire a car ride from Lagos to Abuja is about N60,000, but it may vary depending on the negotiation and the number of passengers.

5. Shuttle

This is a more comfortable and reliable way to travel, but also more limited and scarce.

You can take a shuttle bus from Lagos Jibowu to Abuja, there are various shuttle companies operating in Lagos, do your research and pick one.

The journey takes about 10 hours, with a stopover in Lokoja. The price of a shuttle ticket is about N50,000, but it may vary depending on the availability and the demand.

You should book your ticket in advance, as the shuttle service is not very frequent.

6. Train

If you want to travel from Lagos to Abuja by train, you have two options:

You can either take the Abuja-Ibadan railway or the Ibadan-Abuja railway.

The Abuja-Ibadan railway connects the cities of Abuja and Ibadan, while the Ibadan-Abuja railway links Ibadan and Abuja.

To use the Ibadan-Abuja railway from Lagos, you will need to change trains at the Ibadan station.

The Ibadan-Abuja railway operates only once a day and the journey from Lagos to Abuja lasts approximately 13 to 15 hours
